Back from the dead...

So, I haven't written anything about my 240 project car since last September since I basically became a hermit once it dropped below 50 degrees outside, and just covered the car and let it sit all winter. About a month ago I finally convinced myself to get off my ass and start back working on getting it finished. I think I had some bad ideas when I started messing with the car last year (Thinking it need to look like a show car, my strange obsession with the factory wiring, etc.) So I've been trying my best to just make a basic plan to get it in at least running condition by the end of the summer (or at least the fall). For the last few weeks I've been working on the car body (filling body lines, and "shaving" the side marker lights), and despite the fact that it's a lot more work than I expected, I am at least making progress (I'm almost finished on the from fenders, and started on the pass. side door).

Yesterday, and this afternoon I clean up the cylinders, and installed the crank, rods and pistons which is a good start on getting at least the engine back together.

I don't have any new pictures right now, though I'll probably take some in the next week or so and post them. So look forward to a few updates in the near future.
